She Did It with Millions Dollars of Heritage from Steve Jobs

After Jobs passed away, his millions dollars of heritage was inherited by his wife Laurene Powell Jobs. And then she was familiar to many people. She got to Forbes list and became the most rich woman in Silicon Valley, with this heritage.

College Track helps those senior high school students in low-income family make preparations for universities: it offers them rigorous academic training and extracurricular activities, and even one to one mutual help. Laurene Powell has helped over 1,000 students enter universities so far, and 90% of students getting access to four-year universities.

Castro is one of helped students. As she applied for university, Laurene met with her near Silicon Valley every few weeks. When Castro got into University of California - Berkeley officially, was she informed that the tutor who comforted and encouraged her everyday turned out to be Jobs’ wife, from the report.

Later Laurene added program "American Assistance", which recruits fresh graduates with excellent conditions. She went to the most poorest and shabby schools to teach for the pursuit of education equality.

Laurene found that many excellent children were illegal immigrants in the course of giving aid to them, so she tries hard to promote "Dream Act". It makes those children with dreams can be American citizens and appointed as the White House counsel by Obama.

After Jobs died, she rarely went out for her original low-key. But owing to the considerable properties left by Jobs, she has to expose in front of the public.
