Running a successful business means planning for the future. You should have monthly and yearly goals. But, to be successful with those goals requires their daily implementation. Here are six things you can do every day to become a better entrepreneur and one who accomplish all of your biggest goals.

1. Plan each day the night before.

Yeah, I know what you're thinking: duh. You know that it's important to plan the night before, yet, many who will read this DON'T. You wake up and "wing it" all day hoping to be productive --and that's a terrible strategy. To make the most of each day, you need a solid plan.

This plan includes knowing what's important and what's a wish. There are things that have to get done and things that can wait. We tend to want to do the easier tasks, but that may be hurting your business. Spend some time each night getting honest about where your focus needs to be.

2. Wake up a little earlier.

What time you wake up is a personal choice, but you should wake up early enough to have some you time. There should be some quiet time each morning to reflect, refresh and get re-energized. You can spend this time meditating, praying and engaging in some physical exercise. Getting your blood pumping and clearing your mind are elements of a formula many successful entrepreneurs use daily.

3. Start your day with positivity.

As you wake up earlier, have a plan for what you will feed your mind with. I'm not going to tell you to avoid email and social media. I am going to tell you to feed your mind with inspirational and motivation content. The specific media isn't important: podcasts, videos, books, magazines, etc. What is important is to not let negativity ruin your day before it's even started.

4. Don't give your time away.

One of the best ways to ruin a productive day is to give in to distractions. Distractions come from people and situations that want your time. When you veer away from your plan in order to deal with someone else's urgent problem, you give up control. Becoming a better entrepreneur starts with planning and sticking to that plan. It also involves having the strength to say no. It stings to hurt people's feelings, but this is your life and business. So, do what's right for you.

5. Work on one project at a time.

The myth of multi-tasking as a valid strategy has been around as long as entrepreneurship has, but science has proven it's not effective. Instead stick to your plan for the day and take each task one at a time. Give your full attention and energy to making what you're working on the best it can be. You're not striving for perfection, but you are striving for excellence.

6. Respect your work-life boundaries.

As entrepreneurs, we are all about pushing hard to hits our goals, but that's a surefire way to burn out. Some of the world's most successful entrepreneurs have clear boundaries. You decide ahead of time when you'll stop "work" and focus on your personal life. You decide not to take business call all hours of the day and night.

There are more than six things to put on this list, of course, but these are a good start. It takes a lot out of you to be a good entrepreneur. It takes focusing on what's right for you and your customers. It takes putting in the not-so-exciting daily work that leads to success.

Overall, the main goal of entrepreneurship is to create freedom in your life and make an impact in the lives of those whom your business serves. To do that, you need a plan, focus and constant growth both personally and in your business. Set yourself up for success each day, and strive to get better.

Chinese vice premier upbeat about China-U.S. economic cooperation

Chinese Vice Premier Wang Yang said on Tuesday that thanks to China's long-term economic development trend and market potential economic, the cooperation between China and the United States holds out a promising future.

"Cooperation is the only right choice for our two countries. The giant ship of China-U.S. economic and trade relations is sailing on the right course," Wang said at a China-U.S. business luncheon ahead of the first China-U.S. Comprehensive Economic Dialogue, which is slated for Wednesday.

China has been pushing forward economic restructuring and adhering to reform and opening-up in its economic development, and these efforts have yielded tremendous progress over the past decades, said Wang.

The contribution of China's consumption to economic growth jumped to 77 percent in the first quarter of this year, up from 47 percent in 2013, he noted.

He added that China's current account surplus relative to the GDP dropped from the peak of about 10 percent in 2007 to 0.7 percent in the first quarter of this year, and that China has also been allowing broader market access and greater opening of the service sectors.

The long-term certainty of China's development and progress offers the most important external environment for foreign businesses in China, said the vice premier.

As China is upgrading its economy, Wang said, there is far greater complementarity than competition between the world's two largest economies. "The two countries have seen the space for cooperation expanded rather than narrowed," he said.

China's growing middle class and vast consumer market hold out great potential for American companies, said Wang, noting that in 2016 American exports to China via e-commerce surged by more than 100 percent.

In order to address trade imbalances, the Chinese vice premier called on the United States to relax its outdated regulations on export control, stressing that as the Chinese economy climbs higher on the value chain, there is huge market potential for U.S. exports of advanced technologies.

Taking integrated circuits (IC) as an example, he said that in 2016 China imported 227 billion U.S. dollars of IC products, more than the imports of crude oil, iron ore and primary plastics combined, but only 4 percent came from the United States.

According to forecasts by the U.S.-China Business Council, exports of goods and services from the U.S. to China will double to 369 billion dollars in the next decade and rise to 520 billion dollars by 2050.

In his speech, Wang stressed the importance of cooperation between the Chinese and U.S. business communities.

"Your long-standing support and active participation have helped to create an atmosphere in favor of cooperation rather than confrontation for China-U.S. business ties, and have contributed to the China-U.S. economic relationship as it stands today," Wang told the audience.

"Although there may still be twists and turns in our cooperation going forward, as long as you have confidence, the overall direction of China-U.S. business cooperation will not change," said Wang.

This is one of the four major dialogue mechanisms established by the two sides in April. Wang is scheduled to co-chair the first China-U.S. Comprehensive Economic Dialogue together with U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross.

However, U.S. suspends funding to Kenya's health activities recently.

USAID Kenya and East Africa Contracting Officer, Brian Woody however said the funding for procurement of commodities and equipment related to life-saving treatment, prevention, outbreak or emergency response have been exempted.

Woody cited activities that directly strengthen county health systems will still be funded but noted that salaries and wages for all Global Security Agenda (GHSA) and PEPFAR staff such as project coordinators, administrative staff, supply chain officers, financial officers and field epidemiology and laboratory training program staff will be affected.

Woody said all its officials should immediately refrain from contracting any business with the health department.

"However, whether you receive a separate letter or not, you are to refrain from any activities further specified in this letter and or inform your contracting or agreement officer immediately," he said.

Other activities the agency will not fund include meetings, events, and workshops as well as the printing of communication material such as brochures, training materials, and guidance documents.

Woody stressed that any activities conducted with the health ministry during the period of suspension will not be reimbursed by Washington.

The Takeaways From the IMF's Global Growth Forecast

IMF(International Monetary Fund) raised global economic growth forecasts to 3.5% by 0.1% in 18^th April, which will be the will be the fastest growth year in five years.

The IMF also raised its outlook for the advanced economies, which include the U.S., the U.K., Germany, Italy, Spain, Japan and other developed nations. It now anticipates they will grow by 2% this year, up slightly from 1.9% forecast in January.

Its outlook for the U.S. economy, whose 2017 growth was projected in January at 2.3%, was left unchanged. The U.S. economy grew 1.6% last year.

"Our new projection for 2017 is marginally higher than what we expected in our last update. This improvement comes primarily from good economic news for Europe and Asia, and within Asia, notably for China and Japan," IMF chief economist Maurice Obstfeld told a press conference on Tuesday.

And it upgraded China's growth forecast in 2017 and 2018 to 6.6 and 6.2 percent, respectively.

Meanwhile, the IMF continued to warn of the downside risks facing the global economy.

IMF said "a faster-than-expected pace" of interest rate hikes in the U.S. could tighten financial conditions elsewhere, and strengthening of the U.S. dollar could strain emerging-market economies with currencies that are pegged to the dollar.

The IMF also left unchanged its January forecast for emerging markets, which are anticipated to grow 4.5% in 2017 and 4.8% in 2018.

China's growth this year is now estimated at 6.6%, up from 6.5% projected in January.

"The world economy may be gaining momentum, but we cannot be sure that we are out of the woods," said Obstfeld.

"Avoiding the damage from potential protectionist measures will require a renewed multilateral commitment to support trade, paired with national initiatives that can help workers adversely affected by a range of structural economic transformations including those due to trade," the chief economist said.
